2. To be eligible for the ASFM member’s special registration rate, delegates must attach proof of their active membership status via an official letter or email from the AFSM for individual membership or from their respective National Association of Sports Medicine, which is a member of the AFSM as listed here: https://www.afsmsportsmed.org/nationalmembers.

3. To be eligible for the MASM member’s special registration rate, delegates must attach proof of their active membership status via an official letter for ordinary, associate and corporate member or certificate of life member, which is self-downloadable by login to the membership portal of the official MASM website: http://malaysiansportsmed.org. 4. ASEAN Countries consist of Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

To be eligible for the National Sports Institute of Malaysia (ISN)/ Anti-doping Agency of Malaysia (ADAMAS)/ Ministry of Youth and Sports Malaysia (MYS)/ Ministry of Health Malaysia (MOH)/ Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia (MOHE)/ National Sports Council of Malaysia (MSN)/ Olympic Council of Malaysia (OCM)/ Paralympic Council Malaysia (PCM)/ National Olympic Academy of Malaysia (NOA)/ Malaysia Olympians Association (MOA)/ Malaysian Olympism in Action Society (MOAS)/ Malaysian Exercise and Sports Science Association (MESSA)/ Sport Management and Administration Associatoin of Malysia (SMAS)/ Sports Law Association of Malaysia (SLAM)/ National Sports Associations (NSA) that are affiliated to International Sports Federations (IF) Member’s/ Supporting Universities Academic and Non-academic Staff’s/ Sabah State Government’s Ministries or Agencies Staff’s special registration rate, delegates must attach proof of their active membership/ employment status via an official letter, email or a valid membership or staff ID.

6. To be eligible for sports coach’ (of any age) or professional athlete’/ para-athlete’ (≤ 35 years old) special discounted rate, delegates must attach proof of identity via an official letter or a valid coach or athlete ID from their respective National Sports Coaching Academy/ National Olympic Committee/ National Sports Association/ National Sports Council/ International Sports Federation or evidence of recent participation (within the last six months from the date of full payment) in any official international or world tournament, competition, championship or multisport mega event for professional athlete/ para-athlete.

Other high-income Asia Pacific countries refer to American Samoa, Australia, French Polynesia, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Macao, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Northern Mariana Islands, Taiwan.

8. To be eligible for students’ (including undergraduate and postgraduate) special discounted rate, the delegate must attach proof of identity via an official letter or enrolment email from the Head of Department/ Dean of Faculty/ Director of the Institution/ Course Director or a valid student ID. 9. For group registration of 5 delegates and above, kindly contact the Congress Secretariat for special discounted rate.

Registration fees include access to the pre-congress webinars, one pre-selected congress workshop (selection is on a first-come, first-served basis), all congress scientific sessions, poster and paper presentations, exhibition booths, congress materials, certificates of participation, coffee breaks, lunch. Invitation to the cultured-theme elegant gala dinner cum opening ceremony on 27 April 2024 (Saturday) at 19:30 Malaysia Time (for invited guests only).

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

The Congress Secretariat MUST be notified via email at event@malaysiasportsmed.org of any cancellation or transfer of registration. If you cannot attend the event for a valid reason, you can transfer your registration to another individual. This substitution is subject to approval by the event organizer.
In cases where you cannot attend and are unable to transfer your registration to someone else, the following refund policy will apply:

  • Cancellation on or before 15th March 2024 (GMT+8): 75% Refund
  • ⁠Cancellation on or before 29th March 2024 (GMT+8): 50% Refund
  • ⁠Cancellation after 30th March 2024 (GMT+8): No refund will be issued.

Please note that all refunds will be processed and issued within 30 days following the conclusion of the Congress.

DISCLAIMER
